A Hands-On Pasta Making Experience in Milan
Visiting Milan and dreaming of making fresh pasta like an Italian? At Cookandine you roll up your sleeves in a real Milanese kitchen, learn to make pasta by hand with a local chef, and then sit down to enjoy everything you cooked over lunch or dinner, with a glass of Italian wine.
Every class is built around your own menu: you choose three recipes from our list of Italian classics. Fresh pasta is the favourite of many guests, and you can combine it with pizza or panzerotti, a main course such as ossobuco or eggplant parmigiana, and a dessert like tiramisù. No experience is needed: our chefs guide you step by step. It’s a relaxed, fun way to discover Italian food culture, perfect for couples, families and groups of friends travelling in Italy.

Choose Your Menu: Pasta and Much More
Here are the handmade pasta dishes you can choose. Pick one, two or all three of your recipes from this list, or mix them with other dishes from our full menu:
- Fettuccine – long ribbons of fresh egg pasta with a slow-cooked meat ragù or a fresh tomato sauce
- Ricotta and spinach ravioli – delicate filled pasta served with butter and sage
- Pumpkin ravioli – a Northern Italian speciality from Mantua, with amaretti and mostarda
- Potato gnocchi – soft, pillowy gnocchi with a tomato and basil or four-cheese sauce
- Orecchiette alla Norma – ear-shaped pasta from Puglia with eggplant, tomato and salted ricotta
- Meat lasagna – layers of fresh pasta, Bolognese ragù, béchamel and Parmigiano-Reggiano
Beyond pasta, you can choose homemade pizza, panzerotti, risotto alla milanese, ossobuco, eggplant parmigiana, caponata and desserts such as tiramisù, cannoli, Caprese cake and panna cotta. Vegetarian options are available for most dishes. See all the recipes on our Choose Your Menu page.
